Abstract: Purpose
This ACMP was developed specifically to provide in one document the agreed standard set of NATO Configuration Management Terms and Definitions.
Applicability
This ACMP was developed to provide PM a vehicle by which they could contractually invoke this standard set of NATO Configuration Management Terms and Definitions in a contractor.
Application Guidance
To ensure the universal understanding of technical terms and definitions, it is recommended that whenever a PM requires Configuration Management (CM) on multinational joint projects, the agreed NATO Configuration Management Terms and Definitions (ACMP-6) shall be invoked in the contract.
