description abstract	Purpose This ACMP was developed specifically to provide in one document the agreed standard set of NATO Configuration Management Terms and Definitions. Applicability This ACMP was developed to provide PM a vehicle by which they could contractually invoke this standard set of NATO Configuration Management Terms and Definitions in a contractor. Application Guidance To ensure the universal understanding of technical terms and definitions, it is recommended that whenever a PM requires Configuration Management (CM) on multinational joint projects, the agreed NATO Configuration Management Terms and Definitions (ACMP-6) shall be invoked in the contract.
