Abstract: This standard defines the Standard TACAN Signal. The characteristics and tolerances specified will ensure compatibility of all airborne and ground equipment. Intended Use: The TACAN signal characteristics tolerances defined herein are intended for use by all airborne and ground equipments. The air navigation signal characteristics covered by this standard are military unique because they are used with military applications only in air-to-air operation.
