REFRIGERATION UNITS, MECHANICAL, PANEL MOUNTED, 10,000 BTU FOR REFRIGERATOR, PREFABRICATED, PANEL TYPE

Abstract: This document covers two types of panel mounted, mechanical, refrigeration units having a capacity of 10,000 British thermal units (Btu) per hour and used with the prefabricated, panel type refrigerator (see 6.1).
The refrigeration units shall be of the following types as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - Diesel Engine Driven
Type II - Electric Motor Driven Intended Use: The refrigeration units covered by this specification are intended for worldwide field use by the Military under adverse climatic conditions without added protection from the elements. In use, the evaporator section of the refrigeration unit extends into the opening provided in the prefabricated, panel type refrigerators.
