TIEDOWN ASSEMBLIES, FLOOR ANCHORING

Abstract: This specification covers two types of helicopter floor-anchoring tiedown assemblies. Provision is made for procurement of complete assemblies or certain of the components, as specified (see 6.2).
The tiedown assemblies are classified as follows (see 6.2):
Intended Use: The tiedowns covered by this specification are utilized as helicopter floor anchoring attachments, in conjunction with a personnel/cargo lowering device. The use of the tiedowns are restricted to the load capacities and procedures prescribed by TM 10-1670-251-12.
The tiedown assemblies are classified as follows (see 6.2):
Type I - Tiedown Assembly, Part Number 11-1-886 Type II - Tiedown Assembly, Part Number 11-1-719
Intended Use: The tiedowns covered by this specification are utilized as helicopter floor anchoring attachments, in conjunction with a personnel/cargo lowering device. The use of the tiedowns are restricted to the load capacities and procedures prescribed by TM 10-1670-251-12.
