Abstract: This specification covers one type and size canteen cover fabricated from nylon cloth, nylon webbing and acrylic pile liner material. Intended Use: The canteen cover is designed as a carrier for a one quart nominal capacity water canteen and cup. The cover has a small pocket attached for carrying water purification tablets and is also equipped with metal keepers for attaching the cover to an individual equipment belt for carrying purposes.
