REFRIGERATION UNITS, ELECTRIC, 9000 BTU FOR MILITARY VAN CONTAINER, REFRIGERATED, INSULATED

Abstract: This document covers one type and size of insulated, electric refrigeration unit having a capacity of 9000 British thermal units (Btu) per hour and used with military van containers (see 6.1). Intended Use: The refrigeration units covered by this specification are intended for worldwide use by the Military, both in the field and at sea, under adverse climatic conditions without added protection from the elements. In use, the evaporator section of the refrigeration unit extends into the opening provided in the refrigerated container (NSN-8115-01-084-5491).
