Abstract: This document gives the requirements for the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of the CCU-136/A, CCU-138/A, and CCU-136A/A impulse cartridges and the methods of inspection and tests upon which product acceptance will be based.Intended Use: The CCU-136/A, CCU-138/A, and CCU-136A/A impulse cartridges are designed to provide the power to eject expendable countermeasures from aircraft. The impulse cartridges are designed for use on military aircraft only, and thus have no commercial application.
