Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for the manufacture, acceptance, and delivery of one type of delay composition designated T-10 (see 6.1). Intended Use: T-10 delay composition is intended for use as a delay time determining element in ignition devices such as fuze explosive trains and cartridge actuated devices. The mixture burns essentially with no gas evolution; however, venting or expansion chamber pressure relief is desirable to relieve pressure generated by primary ignition elements. Application of this composition is restricted to hermetically sealed assemblies.
