Abstract: This document covers requirements unique to the Rocket Motor Mark 79 Mods 1 & 2 (see 6.1). Intended Use: The Mk 79 Mods 1 & 2 Scatback Rocket Motor assists in ejecting personnel from the T/AV-8B and A-7 aircraft during an emergency. The rocket motor was developed for use in only those military aircraft, and therefore has no commercial application.
