Abstract: This Commercial Item Description covers the requirements for Layer 2- Mid Weight Undershirt fabricated in 100% Visa® Polyester Double Knit Interlock to wick moisture / perspiration away from the body. The undershirt is intended for wear by male and female military personnel of the Department of Defense as an insulation layer of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). Intended Use: The undershirts are for wear by military personnel of the Department of Defense. They are intended for Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advance Requirements (SPEAR). They are used as an insulation layer of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System in field, combat, and operations other than war.
