Abstract

This specification covers air ejector assemblies to serve surface condensers for Naval shipboard application. <br>Air ejector assemblies shall be of the following types and classes, as specified (see <a>6.2</a> and <a>6.6</a>). </span><pre> Type I - For service of main, ship's service, or other auxiliary surface condensers. Type II - For service of distilling unit condensers (surface ship and submarine non-submergence pressure applications). Class 1 - Basically 70-30 copper-nickel on seawater side. Class 2 - Basically 90-10 copper-nickel on seawater side. Class 3 - Basically titanium tubes, tube sheets, and shell internals.
