Abstract: This specification covers high pressure vaneaxial fans used in collective protective systems for Naval shipboard ventilation systems. Intended Use: The fan-motor units specified herein are intended for ventilation applications on board ships of the United States Navy. The direction of airflow into and out of the fans is axial. The fans are of nonsparking construction. Fans are high efficiency units intended for systems having a resistance of 14.0 inches of water.
