Abstract: This guide applies to the control of the hazards to susceptible materiels, personnel, and flammables, during operations:
- on High Seas when distances between platforms are less than 5000 metres (Footnote 1).
- in Territorial sea and in Harbour
Later, in Chapter 7, advice is given how to implement the procedures in a simplified manner, with examples.
Footnote 1 - No restrictions applies when distances between platforms are greater than 5000 metres.
