Abstract: Purpose
This document provides a common understanding of RM and a common way of applying the related definitions, concepts, processes, tools and techniques for NATO Nations and Agencies applying the NATO Policy for SLCM.
It is a composite of agreed concepts, best practices and proven techniques for managing risks at all levels during all stages of projects and programmes. It is aimed at supporting acquisition programmes and projects objectives within the SLCM framework used in NATO. It provides specific guidance on the use of tools and techniques for RM.
