Abstract: Introduction
This Part is directed toward Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) Service Providers intending to build or purchase equipment for use in the CDPD internal network. This Part affects serving MD-IS manufacturers, home MD-IS manufacturers, and the developers of Serving Accounting Distributor, Home Accounting Distributor and Consolidation Accounting Distributor functions. This Part does not directly affect CDPD subscribers, Mobile End System (M-ES) manufacturers, or Mobile Data Base Station (MDBS) manufacturers.
