Abstract: This Specification details definitions, methods of measurement, and minimum performance characteristics for Position Location Capable Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) mobile stations. This Specification shares the purpose of [1] (and subsequent revisions thereof) by ensuring that a mobile station's location can be determined in any wireless system that meets the compatibility requirements of [1].
Test methods are recommended in this document; however, methods other than those recommended may suffice for the same purpose.
