TIA TIA/EIA-732-750

Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) System Specification Management Information Library - Upgrade of TIA/EIA/IS-732-750

Organization:
TIA - Telecommunications Industry Association
Year: 2001

Abstract: This document defines the managed Object Classes needed to manage a CDPD Service Provider network. Because the classes defined in this document incorporate characteristics defined in the documents listed in Table 750-1, readers and implementors should refer to those documents for details not specified in this document.
Section 1.3 of this document discusses the registration of information objects (e.g., managed Object Classes, name bindings, attributes).
Section 2 provides normative definitions of the managed Object Classes. For each managed Object Class defined in this section, a managed Object Class template is provided and the packages specific to the class. Managed Object Classes are listed in alphabetical order.
Section 3 provides package templates for all defined packages that are appropriate to be used in more than one managed Object Class.
Section 4 defines the name bindings that are currently defined. Name bindings appear in alphabetical order based on the subordinate managed Object Class to which they apply.
Section 5 provides attribute templates for the defined attributes. The attribute templates use external type references that reference an ASN.1 module (in Section 9) that contain the attribute syntax definitions. The attributes appear in a separate section because the same attribute may be used by many managed Object Classes. The attributes appear in alphabetical order.
Section 6 provides templates for all defined parameters listed in alphabetical order.
Section 7 provides templates for all defined actions listed in alphabetical order.
Section 8 provides templates for all defined notifications listed in alphabetical order.
Section 9 provides an ASN.1 syntax module that defines syntaxes for the attributes defined in Section 6, as well as the syntaxes for the notifications, actions, and parameters defined in the other sections. Section 9 also includes an ASN.1 module that defines the high level Object Identifiers used for CDPD management.
Managed Object Conformance Statement (MOCS) proformas for the classes defined in Section 3 and for the name bindings defined in Section 5 are provided in Part 751. These have been prepared according to [CCITT-X.724].
