Abstract: PURPOSE
The purpose of this Marshall Procedural Requirements (MPR) is to provide the instructions for the system that will indicate the inspection and test status of hardware and software, components, materials, and related documents. Quality, safety, and where appropriate, engineering status, shall be maintained from receiving inspection through production, testing, servicing, handling, and subsequent shipment from Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).
APPLICABILITY
This MPR applies to the personnel, programs, projects, and activities at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) including contractors and resident agencies to the extent specified in their respective contracts or agreements. ("Contractors," for purposes of this paragraph, include contractors, grantees, Cooperative Agreement recipients, Space Act Agreement partners, or other agreement parties.)
This MPR applies to all MSFC personnel who are responsible for status processing of hardware and software as defined in MPR 8730.1.
