Abstract: Purpose. The purpose of this plan is to specify the MGM Project's approach to implementing the MSFC Quality Management System (QMS) as defined in the MSFC Management Manual (MPD 1280.1) and associated implementing documentation. (e.g., MSFC Directives and Organizational Instructions (OIs)). This MGM Quality Plan identifies the applicable elements of the MSFC Quality System and supplements the MSFC QMS's procedures and/or instructions by providing additional instructions when appropriate. The objective of this plan is to ensure that the MGM satisfies the customer's requirements (i.e., is quality product).
Applicability. In accordance with the scope of the MSFC Management Manual, the MGM Quality Plan is applicable to all processes for procurement, design, development, and production of MGM flight hardware, flight software and associated ground support equipment interfacing with flight hardware. This Plan will be maintained and remain effective until completion of the Project plus two (2) year.
