| description abstract | This specification covers a type of communications control unit designated as Control Unit, Communication System C-11746(V)()/ARC. This performance specification is intended as a form, fit, and functional replacement for the "standard" Control Unit, Communication System C-11746(V)/ARC (see 6.1). Intended Use: Control Unit, Communication System C-11746(V)()/ARC is intended for use by the pilot, copilot or crew to provide control of radio equipments for voice transmission and reception, direction finding equipment and intercommunication when installed in aircraft and will provide remote transmit selection. The Control Unit, Communication System C-11746(V)()/ARC is designed to process audio output to an individual headset from up to five communications receivers and six navigation receivers. When remote transmit selection is to be used the Indicator, Remote ID-2403/ARC may be installed to display the channel selection. | |
