description abstract	This specification covers the manufacture, inspection and testing of one type of combination bomb rack and rocket launcher designated as Bomb Rack and Rocket Launcher, Combination, Aero 15 Series, and hereinafter referred to simply as rack. Intended Use: The rack is to be used in level bombing, dive bombing and other types of bombing and shall provide for mounting either externally as on a wing or fuselage or, internally as in a bomb bay. The rack shall be capable of carrying and releasing stores weighing up to 500 pounds and with bomb lug spacing of 14 inches. Also, it shall be capable of carrying and launching HVAR rockets and other rockets from rocket packages. The release circuits shall be capable of being operated electrically.
