Intended Use: The BRCU is intended for use in aircraft to prevent inadvertent discharge of the aircraft storage battery after the aircraft is shut down. The unit automatically controls the aircraft battery relay, which will electrically disconnect the aircraft battery from the electrical bus after sufficient time has elapsed for normal use of the battery once the aircraft is shut down on the ground. | |
