| description abstract | This specification covers hydraulic sampling and bleed valves suitable for use in aircraft and missile high pressure hydraulic systems. Hydraulic sampling and bleed valves are of class 3000 and to be operated with type II hydraulic fluid as defined in MIL-H-5440. Intended Use: The valve covered by this specification is intended for use in aircraft and missile hydraulic systems covered by MIL-H-5440 and MIL-H-25475, and operating with hydraulic fluid conforming to MIL-H-5606 or MIL-H-83282 at a nominal operating pressure of 3,000 psi. For low pressure systems ground support application, see MIL-V-81940/2 and MIL-V-81940/3 and for non-aircraft application, see MIL-V-81940/4. | |
