description abstract	This specification establishes the requirements for the manufacture, inspection and testing of a pneumatic solenoid controlled valve, designated as the Aero 2A Pneumatic Valve, suitable for controlling the operation of a 20MM pneumatic gun charging system operating at pressures of 500 to 1500 psi. Intended Use: The pneumatic valve Aero 2A covered by this specification is intended for use in 20mm Pneumatic Gun Charging System. It is intended to operate in conjunction with either single-acting or double-acting 20mm Pneumatic Gun Chargers in the direct current electrical systems of aircraft operating at a nominal rating of 28 volts and pneumatic source of power rated at not over 1500 pounds per square inch. It is also intended to operate either manually or electrically.
